Six base systems are available, each featuring a granite split-axis base and a gantry design. These measurement systems are offered in two distinct product lines—one with air bearings and the other with mechanical bearings.

The VSA series uses balanced linear motors with air bearings for precise positioning along each axis of travel. In contrast, the VSM series employs servo-driven, ground ball screws for axis movement. All three motor axes and their corresponding encoders are bonded directly to the granite base, resulting in exceptional accuracy, stability, and resistance to environmental influences.

Powered by robust M3 metrology software, these systems offer comprehensive measurement, dimensioning, and reporting capabilities required for material qualification.
